Such a lovely peaceful barn/cottage, very comfortable and well kitted out...don't think we missed anything. The abundant supply of towels and logs for the woodburner were very much appreciated. We loved walking around adjacent fields down to the river and the local area in general.

Fabulous week staying at The Barn. Ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area with easy access to the nearby cities but if that's not your thing there's loads of lovely walks to be enjoyed. Corbridge & Cragside (NT) definitely worth a visit. Gibside (NT) is across the road from the cottage so perfect for a day you don't fancy driving. RuthRead more & John are so helpful & friendly. A brilliant stay at the Barn. It is in a great location, fantastic views and plenty of countryside but not too far from amenities. Wonderful hosts who are very helpful with any inquiries. We definitely be booking the barn again.
