This is a great family seaside base with friendly shops, pubs and places to eat. Visit the Maritime Centre Museum and Cafe, Woodhorn Museum for local history and play golf with a seascape backdrop. As the gateway to Northumberland’s superb coastline, discover Cresswell Beach (5 miles) for ice creams and Druridge Bay Country Park’s lake and beach 11 miles away. Head to Amble’s bustling marina and harbour (13.5 miles) for lovely food, and from there, walk along the river to Warkworth’s medieval castle and beach. Inland, Alnwick Castle and Gardens (27 miles) is a great day out for all the family.

There is no garden with this centrally located property, however, the beach is just metres away at the end of the street. Here you can stroll on the promenade, play on the sand or take an evening picnic/BBQ for sunset al fresco dining. Parking for one car is roadside in front of the property (subject to availability) and there is ample free parking nearby.
