A very comfortable cottage. Quiet location. Not too far to drive into Hexham. We have never known car parks to be free anywhere. It was a lovely cottage in a beautiful location, beautiful grounds and very secure having security gates on the drive. The owner was very friendly and even brought over some cake for us! I would thoroughly recommend it and we would definitely think about returning.

Cant recommend this place enough. Great location within a stunning setting. The gated grounds and nicely kept large lawn were fantastic for our dog. Cottage was lovely, nice and warm and was equipped with everything you might need. Owners were friendly and inviting and had plenty of recommendations for places to visit. Definitely recommended.

A lovely short break at Runrig cottage. Set in stunning grounds and a majestic view across the fields to the hills in the distance. This cottage is so tranquil and relaxing. Walks right on your doorstep with the beautiful town of Hexham only a mile or so away too. Can't recommend this place enough.
