A fabulous house, very spacious, clean and comfy. Very well equipped, with everything you need. Great location in the centre of town, 2 minutes from the beach. Lovely homemade scones, butter and milk left for us which was very nice. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great location. Tynemouth has good cafes, restaurants and pubs. Easy for dog walks, 5 mins walk to the Collingwood monument where the dog can be off the lead or 10mins to the dogs allowed section of the beach. 5mins walk to the metro so easy access to surrounding area with no need to drive. This was our second visit to Longsands Lodge / High Tide Hideaway. It is located in a great area of the town, backing onto all the facilities - i.e. eating, drinking and buying souvenirs - that one could wish for on holiday. Boots on one side and the Post Office on the other. Restaurants for all tastes. The wonderful beach. The nearness of the MetrRead moreo station. And not far from the famous Whitley Bay lighthouse and the Rendezvous Caf - beloved by fans of old-fashioned ice cream and of "Vera". Hide

Centrally located, spacious and well-equipped house. We were given a warm welcome with home-baked scones, a bowl of fruit, tea, coffee, milk and butter all left for us. We had a fantastic weekend and would love to come back.

An historic building in the Tynemouth town centre and its wide assortment of dining places. Well-equipped interior on the two upper floors and parking for two cars in the yard. A short walk in one direction will take you to the Longsands beach and another will take you to the castle and the mouth of the River Tyne.
