The location on the edge of Sele park and abbey grounds is impressive. We, and the dog enjoyed strolling them. The views are superb. A few minutes walk to the centre of the lovely market town of Hexham. The cottage is a great base for touring Hadrian's wall and many other sights and places of interest. Be sure to visit the local, pretty town of CorRead morebridge amongst others. Before booking, ask if the bedroom skylight blinds have been fitted. Hide

Lovely cottage, just found the settee far too low for us to sit on, ok for younger people. Parking also a problem, very busy. Nice position next to Sele park.

This is an excellent cottage in a perfect location. The cottage itself is perfect for a couple, with all the necessary facilities provided to a high standard. The location, directly adjacent to the wonderful Sele Park is ideally situated for easy walking access the the centre of Hexham. On site parking is a bonus.

Right in the centre of Hexham backing on to a huge park was ideal for our puppy. We walked her just out the door and she loved playing with other dogs early in the mornings. Hadrians wall so close and Hexham is lovely. Excellent host who sorted problems so quickly. We were impressed with this cottage from the moment we got there. Very clean cottage, modern & well equipped kitchen including microwave, plenty of pots & pans, integrated oven & dishwasher. Ideally located in Hexham town centre. Bed is comfortable, big wardrobe ample storage. This cottage doesnt have its own garden but theres a lovely park on the Read moredoorstep. On-site parking available beware it gets very busy through the day. Would definitely recommend & would like to return next year! Hide

There is a source of light by way of natural light through a glass strip running across the ceiling directly above the bed head . We enjoyed out stay but the skylight above the bed needs a retractable blackout blind. we understand a blind is on order. Great location quiet yet central. Nicely decorated and a great shower. A little dark despite large skylights and the main window looks onto the car park, so there is effectively no view. Excellent location and property finished to good quality and very comfortable More attention to detail would improve the holiday experience.Just a few minutes from the town centre and literally in the park.There is no dedicated parking space so you have to compete with clients at the adjacent chiropractor and users of the park but we had no problemRead mores. Lovely accommodation in a great location. Great for people with dogs as the property is situated next to a lovely park . Hexham is a delightful market town which catered for all our needs .
