The owners, Lesley and Rob, are very friendly and helpful. Location is good for visiting all things North East, Durham, Newcastle, Sheffield, plus Beamish, Hadrians Wall and numerous other Museums and National Trust properties. Cafe in the park serves tasty, value for money food, especially Sunday roast. Two major supermarkets only one mile away. IRead moren these difficult times, felt very safe and comfortable there Hide

The cottage was very comfortable and just as advertised. The owners were very accommodating and friendly, easy to contact too. There were two large supermarkets about 5 minutes drive making it very convenient to pick up essentials. Lovely walks along the river.

Very comfortable and well laid out cottage in a lovely area. Both bedrooms are large with en-suites. It is on a main road and occasionally there were large and loud vehicles. Just over 20 minutes to Beamish and close to Hadrians Wall.

The cottage is well laid out and well equipped and access to the park is very easy. It is next to the River Derwent and gives a good walk for your dog, and the cafe at the other end of the park is a good resting point for a beer or a coffee.
