The fishing port town of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is also home to the famous 'couple' statue by Sean Henry. Activities such as birdwatching, fishing, sailing and water sports are available nearby, while Newcastle city centre with its bustling array of shops and experiences is an easy drive away by car.
