Bothy quite stylish, spacious , reasonable provision of kitchen stuff etc for a studio. However, the stairs up to the door are very steep, the studio was cold on arrival, the woodburner made a bit of difference once it got goingbut in the morning the dated storage heaters were ineffectualso combined with lack of light made it quite miserable. No haRead moreirdryer. Not even a pint of milk provided. Certainly dont feel welcoming. Hide

Fabulous accommodation. A bit on the cool side so take extra layers. Lovely hostess and great views. Not far from anywhere we needed to be.

Beautiful cottage - spent two nights here over a weekend and it was the perfect hideaway. very clean and cosy - was quite cold to begin with but soon warmed up- but would suggest bringing warmer indoor clothes in winter. Log burner was great and furnishings were of excellent quality. Lovely host thank you for the welcome . We will be back. CharlottRead moree & James Hide

A beautiful little hide away for two. We stayed with our 1 year old Samoyed who loved playing with the farm dogs, who were very excitable but friendly. Beautiful scenery and nicely located about 15 minute drive in to Hexham centre. The building is lovely and quirky. The floor is anything but level, which added to the charm. A full kitchen (no freezRead moreer), meant we were able to cook lots, including pancakes for breakfast. Would definitely recommend. Hide

We had a wonderful week stay at the Bothey. It is a lovely cosy little spot with a gorgeous log burning fire on beautiful grounds about 15 minutes outside of Hexham centre. Charlie was lovely and friendly and available to contact for any questions or anything you needed. There are lovely walks locally and plenty of things to do nearby.
