We loved our week in Heron cottage. It was the perfect retreat away from fireworks at home. The cafe is superb, the staff so cheerful and friendly and all cakes and bread baked onsite. No end of walks around the farm and all visitors and dogs' needs are thoughtfully catered for.

Fantastic situation near stream. Quiet and secluded. Although outside of town it is close enough to walk to. There is a bus link but a car is essential. Cottage itself has all mod cons and came with a host of complimentaries to get you started. I was very comfortable and would rent this cottage again.
